Our charter is to provide coordinated leadership to the Australian pulse industry and to facilitate activities that will achieve improved profitability for all sectors of the industry.
Pulse is working on a Lupin N demonstration that will, along with one at Wongan Hills Research Station, is designed to show the value of residual N from Lupins. Other rotational benefits, such as alternative weed control opportunities and disease break, are not demonstrated but should be included in assessing the value of lupins for the rotation. |

Grain & Graze Program invests in research to improve the profitability
and sustainability of mixed farms, focusing on cropping, pastures,
livestock, profitability, whole-farm economics, farming systems, social
issues and natural resources such as soil, water and biodiversity.
The Avon Catchment Council (ACC) recently undertook a comprehensive review of its governing arrangements to ensure the regional group was moving forward with a better way to assist the community to manage their natural resources. To reflect this transformation Avon Catchment Council has also change its name to Wheatbelt Natural Resource Management (NRM) Incorporated.
The South West Catchment Council is a community representative body that coordinates natural resource management in the South West region. NRM is about the protection of land, air, bush, rivers, flora, fauna, people, culture, coastal and marine resources for the benefit of existing and future generations
